Trulli Papavero is the perfect reset button for your soul. Nestled in nature, it’s the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, offering peace, serenity, and the fresh, invigorating air of the hillside.
Come and unwind in this tranquil haven!
The year of construction, 1900, is engraved on the keystone of Trulli Papavero. For over a century, these fairy-tale trulli have provided a refuge in one of the highest districts of Locorotondo, at the border of Cisternino and Fasano, in the beautiful Valle d’Itria. Recently renovated and meticulously restored, Trulli Papavero now welcomes guests from around the world, offering them the unique experience of staying in a trullo, a traditional building from the 17th century typical of the Valle d’Itria.
The Interior
Upon entry, you are greeted by a spacious living room with a table and 6 chairs, a sofa, and a niche with shelves. The living room is distinguished by a high vaulted ceiling with exposed stone.
Through a door to the left, beneath a large arch, you enter a spacious bathroom featuring a shower, towel heater, toilet, bidet, sink, and a cabinet containing towels, bathrobes, extra sheets, as well as a hairdryer, first aid kit, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, and various cleaning products. The bathroom also includes a washing machine, with a laundry basket, clothespins, and a drying rack.
From the two doors opposite the entrance, you access the two bedrooms, each with vaulted ceilings and exposed stone. The bedroom on the left contains a double bed, two nightstands, and a clothes rack. The bedroom on the right features two single beds, which can be joined to form a double, a nightstand, and a clothes rack.
From the archway to the right, you enter the relaxation area and kitchen. The relaxation area of Trulli Papavero is equipped with a fireplace and an armchair.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, stove, oven, pantry, and refrigerator. Pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery, tablecloths, and more are stored in various cabinets.
The house is equipped with independent heating.
The Exterior
Trulli Papavero is surrounded by a large plot of land cultivated with olive trees and fruit trees, bordered by the characteristic dry stone walls, a construction technique recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
Near the entrance, there are 4 seats and a small table with an umbrella, offering shade in the morning. In the afternoon, the area in front of the property is shaded, where you can relax in peace and quiet on the hammock, perhaps with a good book.
The exterior also features a barbecue for guest use, as well as a table with chairs for dining al fresco.
